claudemods

See what Claude is doing: where, who, and what changed.

Three mods for Claude Code from Layne's claudemods marketplace. A file tree that lights up as Claude reads and writes, a progress bar and crew panel for subagents, and a replay of every edit from the last turn.

Mod 1 · file tree

teckTree

An IDE-style file tree in Claude Code's sidebar. It shows git status for every file and highlights what Claude is reading, writing and committing as it happens.

/tecktree opens the panev0.4.0MITClaude Code 2.1.287+
claude plugin install tecktree@claudemods
  • Reads and searches shimmer violet, writes orange, git commits green. Collapsed folders open to show the file.
  • Git status per file in color, with exact +N -N line counts and ?:N M:N D:N counts on folders. Branch, upstream and ahead/behind in the header.
  • The selected file goes to Claude as context, and @path mentions reveal that file in the tree.
  • d on a changed file shows its diff in the pane, or in hunk, lazygit or any diff tool you name.
  • Search, j k h l navigation, file sizes, a preview with highlighted code, your own palette, and a WCAG AAA light theme.

A fork of claude-code-filetree by Kurt Buhler, maintained by Layne.

Mod 2 · subagents

teckProgress

A segmented progress bar above the prompt and a live crew panel for subagents. Each one shows its model, effort, self-reported steps, context fill, estimated cost and elapsed time.

/crew toggles the panelv0.1.0MIT
claude plugin install teckprogress@claudemods
  • The bar has one cell per planned task. Accepted tasks fill in, running ones pulse, and a robot walks while workers run.
  • The orchestrator reports the plan with the progress tool. Workers report their own steps with step, and a worker that never reports shows its context fill instead.
  • Works with the savvy-flow skill out of the box: agent types starting with savvy- are tracked workers, and the rest of the name picks the tier.
  • Costs come from a per-model price table in USD per million tokens. They are estimates, not a bill.
  • Compact mode shrinks the panel to a row of robots.

Mod 3 · edit history

teckReplay

Step through the file edits Claude made in the last turn, one diff at a time. It only watches: every Edit, Write and MultiEdit call goes through unchanged.

/replay opens the panev0.2.0Apache-2.0
claude plugin install teckreplay@claudemods
  • When a turn ends, a hint appears above the prompt. Press r or run /replay.
  • Each step shows the file, the tool, +added -removed counts and up to 12 diff lines. n and p step, c or Esc closes.
  • Files outside the project show in yellow, and denied or failed edits are labeled.
  • Escape codes neutralisedControl characters in files render as visible symbols, so a diff can't repaint your terminal.
  • Hidden characters shownBidi overrides and zero-width characters are made visible.
  • No peeking at secretsOld file text is only read inside the project, never from .env, keys or system paths.
  • Never blocks an editRecording gives up after 1.5 s and the edit goes ahead.

A hardened rewrite of Replay Theater from Anthropic's claude-code-playground, renamed and maintained by Layne.
